The Seattle Seahawks re-signed kicker Steven Hauschka to a three-year, $9.1 million contract, the team announced Monday.
The deal includes $3.3 million in guaranteed money, according to ESPN.com. His contract makes him one of the top 10-paid kickers in the NFL.
“We’re extremely excited to be able to re-sign Steven, especially after the incredibly successful season that he had,” Seahawks general manager John Schneider said.
Hauschka, 28, made 33 of 35 field-goal attempts last year and eight of his attempts in the playoffs as the Seahawks won the Super Bowl.
Hauschka signed with the Seahawks in 2011 after he was released by the Denver Broncos.
In 2008, Hauschka began his NFL career with the Baltimore Ravens before his one-year stint with the Broncos in 2010.
