Seattle Seahawks running back Marshawn Lynch has made it clear he will not miss Sunday’s divisional-round playoff game against the Carolina Panthers.
Lynch sent ESPN’s Kenny Mayne a two-word text on Thursday night when asked about his status:
“I’m Ready.”
Lynch was back as a full participant at practice on Wednesday and Thursday after not making the trip to Minnesota for the wild-card game against the Vikings last Sunday.
Lynch has not played in a game since Nov. 15 and underwent abdomen surgery on Nov. 25.
Lynch, 29, has 417 rushing yards and three touchdowns in seven games this season.
“Any time you have Marshawn, it’s a great thing,” quarterback Russell Wilson said Thursday. “He’s a great football player. Nobody really runs like him at all, and hopefully we can have him out there on the field. But as teammates, we want him to be healthy. We want him to feel like he’s ready to go.”
