Seattle Seahawks running Marshawn Lynch cut short another mandatory Super Bowl media session on Wednesday in Jersey City, N.J.

Lynch, known for avoiding interviews, hopped over chairs to escape reporters after facing questions for 6 minutes, 47 seconds. On Tuesday, Lynch exited the Super Bowl media day in the Prudential Center after 6 1/2 minutes.

“I appreciate it,” Lynch said of the media wanting to speak with him. “But I just don’t get it. I’m just here so I don’t get fined.”

Lynch, wearing headphones, was noticably uneasy during Wednesday’s session and climbed over the chairs to leave because he was hemmed in by Seahawks teammates Robert Turbin and Michael Robinson.

Lynch appeared agitated after Turbin came in and sat beside him.

“Why you wanna block me in, brother?” Lynch asked Turbin.

At one point, Lynch called out a team staff member, asking “What about the time?” He abruptly took off when a reporter shouted his name to ask a question, bolting to a restricted-access area.

NFL spokesman Greg Aiello told ESPN.com that Lynch might not be fined for leaving Tuesday’s mandatory session early.

“Players are required to participate and he participated,” Aiello said.

His response did not appease the Pro Football Writers of America, which released a statement on Wednesday morning saying it was “extremely disappointed in the lack of meaningful access” to Lynch on Tuesday.

“Several of our long-standing and high-profile members were appalled by Mr. Lynch’s conduct and refusal to answer any questions,” the PFWA statement read. “We find the statement that by the league that ‘Players are required to participate and he participated’ to be an affront to our membership. However, we are encouraged that the league will continue to closely monitor this situation.”

Lynch and the Seahawks are preparing to face the Denver Broncos on Sunday night in MetLife Stadium.
