Drew Brees is no longer the only quarterback signed to the New Orleans Saints’ roster.
The Saints announced Monday that free agent veteran Luke McCown agreed to a one-year contract.
McCown will back up Brees as Chase Daniel recently signed with the Kansas City Chiefs.
McCown, 31, was with the Atlanta Falcons last year. He was in Saints camp last summer but was cut in August. He has been a career backup for nine seasons.
