The Kansas City Royals sent outfielder Terrance Gore back to the minors on Friday and promoted outfielder Reymond Fuentes.
Gore was optioned to Double-A Northwest Arkansas, and Fuentes was called up from Triple-A Omaha.
Gore did not have a plate appearance in the two days he spent with the Royals since they called him up on Wednesday.
In six games for Omaha, Fuentes was 8-for-18 with a double, two stolen bases and six runs scored. The 24-year-old was acquired by the Royals from the San Diego Padres in November.
