Houston Rockets power forward Terrence Jones is out indefinitely with a partially collapsed lung suffered in Thursday’s game.
The Rockets announced Jones will be re-evaluated in a week, but there is no timetable for his return. In Jones’ absence, Joey Dorsey is expected to return to the starting lineup, with Donatas Motiejunas also regaining increased minutes.
Jones is fifth on the team with an average of 12.4 points to go along with 7.3 rebounds per game. Motiejunas is right behind him at 11.8 points and 6.0 rebounds per game, but he averages more than a block less per game. Motiejunas has started 59 of 68 games this season and is shooting 49.7 percent from the floor.
Dorsey has started 12 of 55 games and brings more of a defensive presence, as he averages just 2.4 points to go with 3.8 rebounds in 11.4 minutes per game.
