Ben McAdoo is expected to become the New York Giants’ new head coach, according to multiple reports Wednesday night.

The Giants are planning to announce McAdoo’s hiring at a news conference on Thursday. He served as the team’s offensive coordinator the past two years.

Reports indicated that the 38-year-old McAdoo impressed the Giants in his interview with his vision for the job, which opened when Tom Coughlin stepped aside of the season.

It is believed that McAdoo plans to retain Steve Spagnuolo as defensive coordinator.

Before McAdoo arrived in New York, he spent eight years with the Green Bay Packers as tight ends coach for the first six seasons and as quarterbacks coach for the last two.
