The Minnesota Vikings traded wide receiver Percy Harvin to the Seattle Seahawks and is on his way to Seattle to take a physical, Fox Sports’ Jay Glazer reported Monday.
It is not clear what the Vikings will get for Harvin in return.
Harvin, 24, had been rumored to be a camp holdout if the Vikings did not offer him a better contract. He requested a trade last summer before reporting to camp but that talk died down. He is entering the final year of his deal.
ESPN’s Adam Schefter earlier reported that the Vikings and Seahawks were in trade talks and that other teams were involved.
Vikings general manager Rick Spielman said at the NFL Scouting Combine in February that he had no intentions of dealing Harvin.
The versatile Harvin caught 62 passes for 677 yards, rushed 22 times and had a 96-yard kickoff return for a touchdown for Minnesota in just over a half-season last year. He sprained his left ankle against the Seahawks on Nov. 4 and missed the rest of 2012.
