The Pittsburgh City Council proclaimed February as “Dick LeBeau Month” after LeBeau resigned as the Pittsburgh Steelers’ defensive coordinator after the 2014 season.

But apparently LeBeau is not finishing coaching football, because the Tennessean reported that LeBeau is expected to be named the Tennessee Titans’ assistant head coach/defense.

LeBeau worked with Titans head coach Ken Whisenhunt with the Steelers.

It’s not clear what LeBeau’s role would be with the Titans, because Ray Horton will remain the team’s defensive coordinator.

LeBeau, 77, has been associated with the NFL for 56 consecutive years — 14 as a player and the past 42 years as a coach. He spent the past 13 years as the Steelers’ defensive coordinator.
