Tampa Bay Rays left-handed starter David Price, long expected to be on the trade market this offseason, is drawing considerable interest with at least seven teams known to be showing strong interest.

According to Yahoo Sports, the Seattle Mariners, Los Angeles Dodgers, Los Angeles Angels, Pittsburgh Pirates, Texas Rangers, Arizona Diamondbacks and Toronto Blue Jays

Price, 28, won the 2012 American League Cy Young and is under contract through the 2015 season.

The budget-conscious Rays were successful unloading starters under team control in previous deals that sent Matt Garza to the Chicago Cubs and James Shields to the Kansas City Royals for top prospects.
