The Red Sox’s offseason shopping list includes potentially signing Mike Napoli for first base, and dealing for Shin-Soo Choo and Justin Masterson, according to various reports.

The Boston Globe’s Nick Cafardo also said the team remains interested in Adam LaRoche, and should be able to lure top free agents.

“We view Boston as a contender because they’ll build team quickly,” Cafardo wrote on Twitter. “I doubt they’ll have trouble attracting free agents.”

Napoli, 31, hit .227 with 24 homers this season in a follow-up to a 30-homer, .320 campaign. The Texas Rangers didn’t make Napoli a qualifying offer, so a team won’t lose a draft pick to sign him.

A separate report by FOX Sports’ Jon Paul Morosi said the team has interest in acquiring Shin-Soo Choo and Justin Masterson from the Cleveland Indians. The Indians are also fielding calls about shortstop Asdrubal Cabrera and closer Chris Perez, according to FOX Sports.
