Rookie Nick Foles is preparing to be the starting quarterback for the Philadelphia Eagles on Monday night against Carolina.

Foles will be making his second consecutive start, a source told the NFL Network, in place of Michael Vick, who is recovering from concussion.

Various reports have said that Vick is slowly recovering from the head injury. Eagles coach Andy Reid told reporters that Vick is working his way through the NFL’s concussion protocol toward phase two.

Foles completed 21 of 46 passes for 204 yards and two interceptions in his first start last Sunday in a loss to Washington.
