Cincinnati Reds hard-throwing left-hander Aroldis Chapman is headed back to the bullpen, according to a Cincinnati Enquirer report.

Chapman, 25, had been starting this spring, but has struggled with his command. Though he started 16 times in the minors, he’s been a reliever exclusively since coming to the majors.

As the team’s closer last season, Chapman saved 38 games. He posted a 1.51 ERA and struck out 122 batters in 71 2/3 innings. Jonathan Broxton, who signed as a free agent this winter, will likely shift to a setup role.
