The Toronto Raptors’ injury woes continued as the team announced Thursday that swingman Landry Fields has undergone ulnar nerve transposition surgery in his right elbow.
Earlier in the day, the Raptors announced guard Kyle Lowry would be out 1-2 weeks with a bruised cuboid bone in his right foot.
Also, the team announced that reserve swingman Alan Anderson has a suffered a partially torn plantar fascia in his left foot. He is expected to be out 3-6 weeks.
Fields, who is out indefinitely, is averaging 2.4 points and 3.2 rebounds in about 21 minutes a game. He will be re-evaluated in 2-3 weeks.
Lowry is the Raptors leading scorer at 18.3 points per game. He is also averaging 6.3 assists and 5.8 rebounds.
