The Texas Rangers are expected to activate first baseman Mitch Moreland off the disabled list in time for Wednesday’s game against the Kansas City Royals.

Moreland suffered an elbow injury and has been sidelined since April 27.

During a rehab stint with Triple-A Round Rock, Moreland is 0-for-9, but he has drawn six walks. For the Rangers, Moreland is hitting .304 with one homer and nine RBIs in 46 at-bats.
