Raiola to Key Completes Nebraska Comeback Win

Week 7 … U.S. Farm-Raised Catfish “Catch of the Week” for Games of Oct. 11, 2025

In recent seasons, Nebraska football has come up on the short end of many close games, failing to be relevant in the national gridiron picture.

Maybe things are turning around in Lincoln.

For the second consecutive Saturday, the Cornhuskers pulled out a close one, defeating Maryland, 34-31, improving to 5-1, 2-1 in Big Ten play. But with little time remaining in the game, it looked like the outcome would be different.

Nebraska had blown a 10-point lead and trailed 31-27 with just over a minute left to play. That’s when Dane Key and Dylan Raiola made the play of the game. Key, a senior wide receiver, pulled in a three-yard scoring pass from quarterback Raiola with only 1:08 left in the fourth quarter.

That scoring catch by Key has been chosen as the U.S. Farm-Raised Catfish “Catch of the Week.”

For the game, Key had four receptions for 46 yards and the winning score. Raiola passed for 260 yards and four touchdowns including the deciding throw.

Remember … for the tailgate tent or the pre-game party, U. S. Farm-Raised Catfish is always “the winning catch.”

The Catfish Institute, or TCI, was formed in 1986 by catfish farmers and feed manufacturers to raise consumer awareness of the positive qualities of U.S. Farm-Raised Catfish. Since its formation, U.S. per capita consumption has more than doubled.

U.S. Farm-Raised Catfish is a sustainable and environmentally friendly seafood product. The National Audubon Society, Monterey Bay Aquarium, and Environmental Defense all recommend U.S. Farm-Raised Catfish as a safe environmental choice. To find out more, visit www.uscatfish.com.
