The Oakland Raiders officially announced the signing of free agent offensive tackle Donald Penn on Wednesday.
Penn agreed to a two-year, $9.6 million deal with $4.2 million guaranteed, a ESPN’s Adam Caplan reported.
Penn, 30, has played in 122 career games over his eight seasons with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Penn has started 108 consecutive games, all at left tackle, since earning the starting job in 2007.
Penn was originally signed as an undrafted free agent by the Minnesota Vikings in 2006 before being signed off the practice squad by the Buccaneers later that season. The 6-foot-5, 340-pounder was named to the Pro Bowl after the 2010 season, when current Raiders offensive coordinator Greg Olson coached him in the same capacity.
