Packers hire Marshall as assistant OL coach

The Green Bay Packers hired Steve Marshall as their new assistant offensive line coach, the team announced Wednesday.

Marshall has more than 30 years of coaching experience, including six seasons in the NFL. Marshall began his coaching career at Plymouth State (N.H.) in 1979. He also coached in the collegiate ranks at Tennessee (1980-81, 1993-95), Marshall (1982-83), Louisville (1984), Murray State (1985-86), Virginia Tech (1987-92), UCLA (1996), Texas A&M (1997), North Carolina (1998-99) and California (2009-10).
