OL Wallace remains with Steelers

The Pittsburgh Steelers re-signed veteran offensive lineman Cody Wallace to a three-year contract on Wednesday.

Financial terms were not released.

Wallace played in nine games for the Steelers last season at guard and center, starting a career-high four games. He signed with the Steelers before the 2013 season after his release by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

A fourth-round draft pick by the San Francisco 49ers in 2008, Wallace was with the 49ers for two seasons and on the practice squads of the Detroit Lions, New York Jets and Houston Texans during the 2010 and 2011 seasons.

His 18 career NFL games include one with the 49ers in 2009 and eight with the Buccaneers in 2012.
