The Denver Nuggets restructured the deal with forward Danilo Gallinari and signed him to multi-year contract extension, the team announced Monday.

Details of the contract were not released, but Fox Sports reported two weeks ago that the Nuggets were finalizing a two-year contract extension with Dallinari that will pay him an additional $34 million through the 2017-2018 season.

The restructured Gallinari deal includes a $2.5 million increase on the $11.5 million owed to Gallinari as he enters the final year of his contract this coming season.

Gallinari, 26, missed the entire 2013-2014 season with a knee injury, and he averaged 12.4 points and 3.7 rebounds this past season.

However, he showed significant improvement late in the season. In the final 19 games, Gallinari averaged 19.3 points and 5.1 rebounds while hitting 40 percent of his 3-point attempts.
