
MINNEAPOLIS — The Minnesota Timberwolves won for the first time in 2016, beating the Phoenix Suns 117-87 at Target Center on Sunday afternoon.
Andrew Wiggins had 18 points on 8-of-13 shooting as Minnesota snapped a nine-game losing streak. The 30-point margin of victory was the largest for the Wolves this season.
Brandon Knight led the Suns with 20 points as Phoenix lost its fourth consecutive game and 13th in its last 14 games.

OKLAHOMA CITY — Russell Westbrook racked up his fifth triple-double of the season, his second in two games, to lead Oklahoma City past Miami.
Westbrook had 13 points, 15 assists and 10 rebounds. Teammate Kevin Durant scored 24 points and grabbed 10 rebounds.
Dwyane Wade led the heat with 22 points, while Tyler Johnson scored 16.
Spurs 112, Mavericks 83
SAN ANTONIO — LaMarcus Aldridge scored 23 points, 13 of them in the pivotal third quarter, as San Antonio walloped Dallas to win its 11th consecutive game and improve to 24-0 at home this season.
The Spurs also got 16 points from Boris Diaw and 15 from Kawhi Leonard, who didn’t play in the fourth quarter. Two of the Spurs’ starters, Tim Duncan and Tony Parker — scored just two points each, but shooting 0-for-4 from the floor. Parker left the game midway through the third quarter with soreness in his right hip and did not return.
Dwight Powell led Dallas with 15 points. Mavericks star Dirk Nowitzki was limited to four points.
