NBA roundup: Warriors off to record 10-0 start

MINNEAPOLIS — Stephen Curry led all scorers with 46 points as the Golden State Warriors remained perfect on the season with a 129-116 win over the Minnesota Timberwolves at Target Center on Thursday.

Curry had 21 points after the first quarter and 25 at the half as the Warriors looked to run away with the game early.

It was the fourth time this season Curry scored at least 20 points in a single quarter and his third 40-point game. He shot 15-for-25 on the night, including 8-for-13 from 3-point range.

At 10-0, Golden State is off to the best start in franchise history. The 1960-61 Warriors opened 9-0.

Heat 92, Jazz 91

MIAMI — With Dwyane Wade out for family reasons, Miami got 25 points from Chris Bosh and defeated Utah.

Tyler Johnson hit a jump shot with 38.1 seconds remaining to bump the Heat’s lead back up 88-84 after Utah’s Alec Burks hit a layup to trim the deficit to two. Johnson also hit a layup on the Heat’s previous possession.

Bosh, who also recorded eight rebounds and four assists, had a key block on a layup attempt by Burks with 19.9 seconds remaining.
