NEW ORLEANS — Forward Anthony Davis shook off a sore groin to pour in 29 points and grab 13 rebounds and guard Eric Gordon added 20 points as the New Orleans Pelicans snapped the Atlanta Hawks’ 19-game winning streak with a 115-100 victory Monday night at the Smoothie King Center.

The Pelicans (26-22) led by as many as 19 points, 103-84, with 4:57 left in the fourth quarter and coasted to the victory. Center Omer Asik contributed a season-high 17 rebounds, and guard Tyreke Evans had 15 points and 12 assists.

The Hawks (40-9) lost for the first time since a 107-77 defeat at the hands of Milwaukee on Dec. 26. Atlanta had won 33 of 35 games — including 12 straight against Western Conference opponents.

Atlanta was led by guard Jeff Teague with 21 points, but the Hawks were miserable from long range, making just 7 of 22. The Hawks had made at least 10 3-pointers in 14 of their previous 15 games.

Thunder 104, Magic 97

OKLAHOMA CITY — Guard Russell Westbrook posted 25 points, 11 rebounds and 14 assists to record his second triple-double of the season and lead Oklahoma City to a victory.

The Thunder (24-24) ended a two-game losing streak despite playing without forward Kevin Durant, who is sidelined due to a sprained left big toe. Oklahoma City remained within striking distance of the Phoenix Suns in the race for the Western Conference’s final playoff spot.

Orlando (15-36) lost its ninth consecutive game.

Nets 102, Clippers 100

NEW YORK — Jarrett Jack nailed a foul-line jumper with 1.3 seconds remaining after Alan Anderson made a four-point play with 15.3 seconds left, leading Brooklyn to a come-from-behind victory.

Anderson’s four-point play capped a 20-8 run that enabled the Nets to erase an 11-point deficit in the final four minutes of the game. Anderson hit a 3-point shot and was fouled by Blake Griffin, fouling him out of the game. Anderson’s free throw gave Brooklyn a two-point lead.

Clippers guard Chris Paul, who finished with a team-high 20 points, tied the game 100-100 with a driving layup before Jack hit the game-winner for the Nets, who snapped a four-game losing streak.

Nets center Brook Lopez had 24 points for Brooklyn, while guard Deron Williams added 15 points in his return after missing 11 games with a rib injury.
