CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Guard Kemba Walker scored 23 points before sitting out the entire fourth quarter and the Charlotte Hornets snapped a seven-game losing streak with a 107-84 blowout victory over the Atlanta Hawks on Wednesday night.

Walker was 9 of 13 from the field and hit four 3-pointers, breaking out after combining to go 7 of 28 from the field in his previous two games. He also had five assists.

The Hornets (18-20) raced to a 17-2 lead in the first seven minutes and never trailed from there, taking advantage of an Atlanta team that seemed totally disinterested all night. Charlotte eventually led by as many as 35 points in the second half.

The Hawks (23-16), who had won two straight and nine of their previous 12, were 1 of 11 from the field with six turnovers on their first 15 possessions. They finished at 37 percent from the floor and committed 16 turnovers.

Wizards 106, Bucks 101

WASHINGTON — John Wall scored 19 points and Washington opened the fourth quarter with an 11-0 run and pulled away for its third straight win, defeating Milwaukee.

Ramon Sessions had 15 points for the Wizards, who blew a 19-point lead in the first half and trailed 74-71 entering the final period before pulling ahead of the turnover-plagued Bucks. Washington turned 27 Milwaukee turnovers into 36 points as the Wizards improved to 3-0 against the Bucks this season.

Wizards guard Bradley Beal scored 11 points in 22 minutes during his first appearance since Dec. 9. He missed 16 games with a stress reaction in his right fibula.

Nets 110, Knicks 104

NEW YORK — Thaddeus Young posted a double-double with 19 points and 11 rebounds as Brooklyn placed six players in double figures and ended a 10-game home losing streak with a victory over New York.

Young finished with his 19th double-double and reached double figures for the 35th time. He also thrived defensively against Knicks rookie forward Kristaps Porzingis.

Porzingis was held to 11 points on 5-of-17 shooting from the floor. He was 1 of 8 when Young was defending him. Brook Lopez had 20 points and eight rebounds for the Nets, who won their first home game since beating the Philadelphia 76ers on Dec. 10 and snapped a five-game overall losing streak.
