Memphis Grizzlies forward Ed Davis was fined $15,000 for making excessive and unnecessary contact with Houston Rockets forward Donatas Motiejunas, the NBA announced Monday.
Davis was assessed a Flagrant Foul 2 and ejected for the incident, which occurred with 8:42 remaining in the fourth quarter of the Rockets’ 92-73 preseason win over the Grizzlies on Friday.
