The NBA All-Star Game telecast on Turner Sports stations TNT and TBS averaged 7.6 million viewers on Sunday night, an increase of six percent from 2015, according to overnight ratings from Neilsen Fast Nationals.
The high point of the telecast was when an average of 8.7 millions watched between 8:45-9 p.m. ET.
There was heaving interest to see Kobe Bryant of the Los Angeles Lakers play in his 18th and final All-Star Game.
The All-Star Game drew 7.2 million viewers last season.
The All-Star Saturday Night telecast averaged 5.6 million viewers. The Saturday broadcast peaked with an average of seven million viewers between 10:15-10:30 p.m. ET during the slam dunk contest.
