The Washington Nationals activated Bryce Harper from the 15-day disabled list Monday.

To make room for Harper on the 25-man roster, the club optioned left-handed reliever Xavier Cedeno to Triple-A Syracuse.

The Nationals open a series against the visiting Colorado Rockies. It is Bryce Harper bobblehead night at Nationals Park.

In five minor league rehab games, Harper batted .643. He also hit three home runs in one of those games.
