Reliever Brandon Lyon has agreed to a one-year deal with the Mets, according to a New York Daily News report.
Lyon, 33, pitched for the Houston Astros and Toronto Blue Jays last season, and posted a 3.10 ERA in 61 innings. The 11-year veteran earned $5.5 million in 2012.
Lyon is one of many relievers added by the Mets this offseason, joining Scott Atchison, Tim Byrdak, Pedro Feliciano and LaTroy Hawkins.
