–Power forward J.J. Hickson signed a three-year, $15 million contract with the Denver Nuggets.

–Restricted free agent point guard Jeff Teague’s days in Atlanta could be numbered after he accepted a four-year, $32 million offer sheet with the Milwaukee Bucks.
When the deal is officially signed and turned into the NBA office, the Hawks have three days to match. Teague, who reportedly informed Hawks general manager Danny Ferry that he was ready to move on, made little progress in contract talks to stay in Atlanta.
Milwaukee executed a separate trade — acquiring Luke Ridnour from the Minnesota Timberwolves — to bolster its backcourt in anticipation of losing Monta Ellis and Brandon Jennings. Jennings could be part of a sign-and-trade in the Teague deal, according to Yahoo Sports. The Hawks signed rookie point guard Dennis Schroder on Thursday.
–Chauncey Billups and the Detroit Pistons are set to reunite with a two-year, $5 million contract.
Billups, 36, played 42 games last season with the Los Angeles Clippers and only 15 games in 2011-12 because of an Achilles injury. Billups played in Detroit from 2002-2009, winning the NBA title with the Pistons in 2004 with Billups earning Finals MVP honors.
The second year of the new deal is a team option.
–Oklahoma City traded shooting guard Kevin Martin to the Minnesota Timberwolves in a sign-and-trade deal.
Martin, who has played for Sacramento, Houston and Oklahoma City in the past four seasons, gives the Timberwolves a perimeter scorer who will likely start immediately.
