The Miami Marlins recalled infielder Derek Dietrich from Triple-A New Orleans on Friday.
Dietrich is hitting .262 with seven home runs and 27 RBIs in 55 games for New Orleans.
Dietrich is a .220 hitter with 14 homers and 40 RBIs in 106 major league games with the Marlins from 2013-14. He will join the Marlins against the Colorado Rockies on Friday night.
The Marlins also optioned left-hander Adam Conley to the Zephyrs following the Marlins’ 6-0 win Thursday.
