The Orlando Magic have traded former first-round pick forward Moe Harkless to the Portland Trail Blazers in exchange for a future second-round pick.
Harkless was taken with the 15th overall pick in the 2012 NBA draft, but has struggled to meet expectations.
Harkless, 22, could be a key cog in the Trail Blazer’s future as Portland reshapes its roster after LaMarcus Aldridge and Wesley Mathews bolted in free agency earlier this month.
Harkless averaged 6.8 points per game in his three seasons in Orlando.
