Detroit Lions restricted free agent running back Joique Bell will be tendered at the second-round level if no deal is reached by 4 p.m. Tuesday as the two sides continue to negotiate a long-term contract, ESPN.com reported.
If no contract agreement is reached, the Lions would pay Bell $2.187 million this year. The Detroit Free Press reported the two sides are close to agreeing on a multi-year deal.
Bell rushed for 650 yards and eight touchdowns on 166 carries and had 547 receiving yards last season.
