Detroit Lions running back Reggie Bush practiced with the team Friday for the first time this week, putting him in line to be in the starting lineup Sunday.
The Lions (1-1) travel to Washington to face the 0-2 Redskins, who are on pace to set records for points and yards allowed after two weeks. Washington was the first team to allow a 450-yard passer and 120-plus-yard rusher in the same game last week at Green Bay.
Bush has been a catalyst for the Detroit offense through two games with 260 total yards. Given the Redskins’ tackling and downfield pass defense issues, Bush could be in line for another heavy workload.
