1. Houston: It’s going to be difficult to beat the Texans’ balance.

2. San Francisco: 49ers showing they are for real.

3. Pittsburgh: They usually find a way to get the job done.

4. Philadelphia: How long will they be this high with o-line issues?

5. Baltimore: Race with Steelers will again be tense and tight.

6. San Diego: Getting off to a good start so important.

7. Atlanta: Trying to capitalize on Saints’ slow start.

8. New England: Losing at home to Arizona? Seriously?

9. Green Bay: Packers will probably start climbing this list.

10. Denver: We’ll find out soon enough if Manning is human.

11. Dallas: The roller coaster Cowboys finally at home this week.

12. Detroit: They will battle with Packers all season.

13. Chicago: When will the Bears protect Cutler?

14. New York Giants: Eli is showing he’s now the best Manning.

15. Cincinnati: Defense has to play a lot better.

16. Carolina: There’s a sense they will start rising on this list.

17. Seattle: Seahawks have to show they can win on the road.

18. St. Louis: Fisher has Rams being relevant again.

19. Washington: Injury to Orakpo will be tough to overcome.

20. New Orleans: Maybe us against the world isn’t enough.

21. Arizona: Looking pretty good, but can they stay consistent?

22. New York Jets: They have to show they’re not grossly overrated.

23. Tampa Bay: Bucs make headlines on a kneeldown? Please.

24. Buffalo: We’ll find out soon who the real Bills are.

25. Miami: They can run and stop the run. Let’s see if they can win.

26. Oakland: They can pass, but have to run much better.

27. Kansas City: Poor start has wolves baying at Pioli’s door.

28. Cleveland: Two tough losses, but Browns are improving.

29. Minnesota: Vikings are playing better than expected.

30. Jacksonville: Offense has to find some consistency.

31. Indianapolis: Luck will lead them to some victories.

32. Tennessee: No team playing worse than Titans at this point.
