Lakers waive two players


The Los Angeles Lakers are down to 17 players on their roster after waiving guard Michael Frazier II and center Robert Upshaw on Tuesday.

Frazier played in four preseason games for the Lakers after signing as an undrafted free agent from Florida and averaged 2.0 points, 2.3 rebounds and 0.8 assists.

Upshaw also participated in four preseason games and averaged 2.5 points, 3.0 rebounds and 0.75 blocks. He joined the Lakers on Sept. 14 as an undrafted rookie from Washington.
