
A day after adding three players to the roster, the Sacramento Kings signed well-traveled free agent forward Caron Butler on Thursday.
The length and financial terms of the contract were not disclosed by the team.
The 35-year-old Butler has spent 13 seasons in the NBA with Miami, the Los Angeles Lakers, Washington, Dallas, Los Angeles Clippers, Milwaukee, Oklahoma City and Detroit.
Butler has career averages of 14.3 points, 5.1 rebounds, 2.3 assists and 1.3 steals in 864 career games. A two-time NBA All-Star, Butler was drafted in the first round by the Heat in 2005.
Last season with the Pistons, Butler played in 78 games and averaged 5.9 points, 2.3 assists and 1.3 steals.
