Kings sign trio of free agents

The Sacramento Kings signed free agent forwards Quincy Acy and Duje Dukan and guard Seth Curry to contacts, the team announced Wednesday.

Curry, the younger brother of Golden State Warriors guard Stephen Curry, was the leading scorer in the NBA Summer League for the New Orleans Pelicans at nearly 25 points per game. He agreed to a two-year deal worth $2 million, according to multiple media reports.

Curry played three seasons at Duke and one at Liberty. He was not drafted, and he shuttled between the NBA Development League and short stints with the Cleveland Cavaliers, Memphis Grizzlies and Phoenix Suns the past two seasons.

Acy rejoins Sacramento after averaging 5.9 points and 4.4 rebounds with New York last season. Acy, a second-round draft pick by Toronto out of Baylor in 2012, averaged 2.7 points, 3.6 rebounds and 14 minutes in 56 games for the Kings in 2013-14 after being acquired from the Raptors.

Dukan was not drafted in June after playing four years at Wisconsin, but he caught Sacramento’s eye by averaging 9.2 points, 2.4 rebounds and 18 minutes in five Summer League contests for the Kings.
