The New York Jets signed kicker Dan Carpenter and cut Billy Cundiff.
Cundiff was signed in July to compete with incumbent Nick Foles and hit all three of his field-goal attempts through the first three preseason games.
Carpenter is a former Pro Bowl kicker who has been released by the Miami Dolphins and the Arizona Cardinals in the past two weeks.
