With the NBA trade deadline approaching Thursday, one of the more prominent players being shopped around is Utah Jazz big man Enes Kanter.
Kanter, who will be a restricted free agent this summer, has expressed some frustration as his role has diminished with the emergence of center Rudy Gobert.
The 6-foot-11 Kanter is averaging 7.2 points and 4.3 rebounds in only 15.4 minutes per game this season.
While he has asked to be traded, according to multiple reports, it’s expected Kanter will remain with Utah because of the high asking price. The Jazz are seeking a package of draft picks and a young players in exchange for the 22-year-old.
