Utah Jazz center Enes Kanter had platelet-rich plasma treatment on Tuesday to help the 22-year-old deal with tendinitis in his right knee.
The Jazz said Kanter will be sidelined for two weeks before resuming any physical activity. He will not participate in the FIBA World Cup for the Turkish National Team.
The 6-foot-11 center, who has been mentioned in predraft trade talks, played in 80 games last year, starting 37. He averaged 12.3 points and 7.5 rebounds per game.
Utah selected Kanter with the third overall pick in the 2011 draft.
