LeBron James passed Dominique Wilkins for 12th place in all-time NBA scoring Thursday.
The Cleveland Cavaliers forward passed the former Atlanta Hawks star by completing a three-point play late in the first quarter against the Brooklyn Nets.
The hoop lifted him above Wilkins’ career 26,668 point total. James ended the night with 24 points and a career total of 26,689.
Next up, James needs 22 points to pass Oscar Robertson for 11th place.
“I’ve been very durable throughout my career and I’ve played with some great teammates and two great organizations all my career that allowed me to put the ball in the basket,” James said.
The Cavaliers routed the Nets 107-87 in Cleveland.
