Wide receiver Mohamed Masssaquoi was signed by the Jacksonville Jaguars. Terms were not disclosed.

The oft-injured Massaquoi was a second-round pick by the Cleveland Browns in 2009 and has 118 receptions for 1,745 yards while stating 43 of 54 career games. He had 17 catches for 254 yards while starting five of nine games for the Browns in 2012.

The Jaguars had been searching for a third receiver behind starters Justin Blackmon and Cecil Shorts III, a role Mohamed could fill if he’s able to stay healthy – he hasn’t made it through a 16-game regular season since his rookie year.

Jacksonville also signed Jordan Shipley this offseason and has Taylor Price, Mike Brown, Toney Clemons and Jerrell Jackson on the roster headin into the NFL Draft later this month.
