Jacksonville Jaguars quarterback Blaine Gabbert was carted off the field during training camp practice Monday because of a sprained right ankle.

The team said Gabbert will be evaluated over the next two days.

Gabbert sustained the injury during 11-on-11 drills. Jaguars.com reported that offensive lineman Uche Nwaneri was pushed back into Gabbert while he was stepping up in the pocket.

He said after practice that he will be fine.

Gabbert, entering his third year, is competing for the starting spot with Chad Henne.
