Even though he’ll be sidelined until next month, Blaine Gabbert was named the starting quarterback for the Jacksonville Jaguars.
Head coach Gus Bradley declared Gabbert the No. 1 quarterback over Chad Henne, ending a competition that began in in April.

Bradley said Gabbert will be ready for the regular-season opener against the Kansas City Chiefs.
