The Cleveland Indians announced Monday that they selected the contract of left-hander David Huff from Class AAA Columbus, recalled righty Trevor Bauer from Columbus and optioned infielder Lonnie Chisenhall to their Class AAA affiliate.
Huff is 3-1 with a 4.07 ERA in nine games, including two starts for Columbus.
Bauer is 1-0 with a 2.55 ERA in four starts with the Clippers. He was scheduled to start Game 2 of Monday’s doubleheader against the New York Yankees, his third major-league start.
Chisenhall hit .213 with four doubles, three homers and 11 RBI in 26 games with the Indians.
