Chicago Bulls guard Kirk Hinrich and forward Luol Deng will likely not play in Monday’s Eastern Conference semifinal game against the Miami Heat.

Bulls coach Tom Thibodeau told reporters after Monday morning’s practice that Hinrich has only made some progress in recovering from a calf injury and Deng is still not healthy enough to make it through practice while coming back from an illness.

Hinrich was injured during Game 4 of the Bulls’ first round series against the Brooklyn Nets.

Deng has lost 15 pounds since complications from a spinal tap he underwent while sick in a hospital earlier this month. He has been limited in practice the past two days, having to stop after a few minutes because of vomiting.

The Bulls trail the Heat 2-1 in the best-of-seven series.
