Miami Heat guard Goran Dragic opted out of his contract and will become a free agent.
The sharpshooting Dragic will be one of the most sought after free agents, but is expected to remain in Miami.
The Heat reportedly are ready to offer the 29-year-old a five-year deal worth more than $80 million.
Miami acquired Dragic at last year’s trade deadline from the Phoenix Suns. With the Heat, he averaged 16.6 points per game as well as 5.3 assists.
