Heat assigns Pittman to D-League team

The Miami Heat have assigned center Dexter Pittman to the Sioux Falls Skyforce of the NBA Development League, the team announced Monday. It’s his fourth stint in the D-League this season.

Pittman was originally assigned to Sioux Falls on December 26 and recalled on January 17. He was then re-assigned on January 18 and recalled again on January 20 before being assigned to his third stint on February 3 and recalled on February 13. He has appeared in 15 games (12 starts) with Sioux Falls this season averaging 12.4 points, 8.8 rebounds, 1.67 blocks and 24.9 minutes.
