New York Giants wide receiver Brandon Collins was suspended without pay for the first four games of the regular season for violating the NFL Policy and Program for Substances of Abuse, the league announced Monday.
Collins is eligible to return to the Giants’ active roster on Sept. 30. He can participate in all offseason and preseason practices and games.
An undrafted free agent last year, Collins did not make the team’s active roster in any games and his chances of making the 53-man roster this year are slim.
