New York Giants wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. returned to practice on Thursday, marking the first time he’s done so with the team since sustaining an ankle injury on Aug. 21.
According to SNY, Beckham participated in some drills during the portion of the Giants’ practice that was open to reporters.
Beckham’s availability for Monday’s game (8:30 p.m. ET) against the Detroit Lions (1-0) remains in question, however.
The 24-year-old Beckham was labeled as a game-time decision for the season opener against the Dallas Cowboys before being ruled inactive. The Giants (0-1) struggled to find any rhythm offensively in their 19-3 loss to the Cowboys.
Beckham, who has made the Pro Bowl in each of his first three NFL seasons, caught 101 passes for 1,367 yards and 10 touchdowns in 2016.
Fantasy Update: This is good news for Beckham owners. If he’s healthy enough to go on Monday night, he is a must-start.
